Women in the Workplace
Women in the Workplace is a gathering of working women to provide opportunities to unite in community and grow in their leadership while also finding balance in their lives. At the core of each discussion is the importance of living out our faith at work to live life on mission while transforming our community. The fast-paced hour includes lunch, speakers, and table discussion groups. Each month includes a featured area non-profit and may spotlight a “Pop-Up” Shop, operated by a local businesswoman.
Women in the Workplace
Barbara Ridley | OCTOBER 2023
This month, Women In The Workplace is excited to welcome Barbara Ridley as she speaks on Empowering Women To Be Thankful. We invite you to join us as Barb shares her personal testimony, giving examples of thankfulness and how we can cultivate an attitude of thankfulness no matter our circumstances.
Barbara Ridley was born and raised in Memphis, TN and after spending time working at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Barb moved to Winona Lake with her late husband so he could attend Grace College. The Warsaw, IN area, has been her home ever since!
In 2023 she was recognized by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce as Woman Of The Year due to her contributions to our community. She is now retired but keeps busy with her three children and three grandchildren. She is a woman of faith whose life’s mission is to surround herself with strong, good people. Barb doesn’t believe in giving up and is committed to always showing up, never expecting anything in return, and focuses on being thankful every day.
